The Courthouse--where cases are argued, the guilty punished, and the innocent set free. There are two sides to every story, and it's up to an impartial jury to decide whose side is correct. There are always plenty of spectators, and the press. Of course, not all cases must be decided by a jury--things such as divorce, and minor crime can be decided by just the judge.

Like the NYPD, the FDNY has also remained close through the years. Also like the NYPD, these firefighters and fparamedics put their lives on the line daily. The building has a garages for the ambulances and fire trucks, a lounge, a place to rest for those on-duty, and so much more.

The ASPCA [American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals] is a no-kill shelter that takes in abused, abandoned, and neglected pets. Some pets are even up for adoption once they are healthy again--provided they aren't too violent to be a normal domestic pet.

When somebody is in need of medical attention they should be brought here, to the New York Medical Center. The medical staff here takes care of everythnig from simple births to complicated open-heart surgeries on a daily basis.

The Icove Center has been around since just after the Urban Wars. The Plastic Surgery center does everything from reconstructive surgery, to nose jobs, to lipo. When the Icoves were murdered, the entire chain of surgery centers was handed over to the highest bidder.

With tens of thousands of books, and literally unlimited research resources, this massive library is a geek's paradise. The books are separated meticulously by the ever-reliable Dewey Decimal System. This building is so massive, that there are free maps of it at the front desk, for anyone who wants one. There are plenty of places to sit and read, do homework, research, etc. But be quiet..

Where the dead ae buried...It's a large plot of land, with too many gravestones to count, in tons of different varieties. Some of the graves are decorated by family members who make it a habit to visit the graves of their loved ones a couple times a year. But sadly, there are those who are forgotten.. There haven't been any grave robberies, though. Not since the new owner came along. And the grass is well-kept, too.

The Brookhollow Academy has been around since just before the Urban Wars. It has virtually all classes taught in normals schools, and for every grade level from PreSchool to Senior Year. It's a prestigious school with strict rules and an evn more strict curriculum. Things found in normal schools are nearly unheard of here--such as dropping out, missing homework, etc.

A large office building, in the central-west region of the city. They are many cubicles for the office workers, and the building is large enough so that the cubicles aren't too small. The Enterprises do just about everything--Insurance, Newspapers, anythnig you can think of. And then, in some areas, it's just a regular office.

Despite NYC being a large city, here is only one apartment complex--but it;s very large, and has hundreds of rooms on twenty floors. The rooms range in size, color, and even shape! But each one has a balcony, and on the upper-levels, there's a good view.

A large sports complex, this place has something for everyone. On the main floor, there's a large iceskating rink, and a concession stand. On the second floor is a mini-arcade, and several rooms for playing raquetball, tennis, and basketball. The third floor is a series of large rooms with rock climbing walls. The fourth floor is divided up into two smaller levels, both of which are designed for paintballing, with plenty of places to hide behind and shoot from.
The fifth floor is almost exactly like the first, except, it's always dark, and it's used for laser tag.

All these years, still the same great flavors. If you're really nice, you may even get a full-sized free sample. It's mostly Domestics working here, but they do the ice cream making. It's actual people who do the selling, maintenance, etc.

For this section of New York, crimes such as murder, rape, and drugs (both selling and using) are almost expected. It's dangerous for even the most careful law-abiding citizens. Over the past few decades, law enforcement has tried their hardest to stop the crime..but very few of the officers sent in made it out alive.

Not the best place for a romantic date, but Fat Joe's Diner makes great home made fries, pies, and shakes. They also serve some alcohol, and sell cigarettes. It's got the classical chrome-red-black-white color scheme found in most 70's-style diners.

AutoChef broken? Domestics acting up? Not to worry. In thos old-age repair shop, you can have your flat back to normal in no time. For a price, of course. Depending on how complicated the work is that needs to be done,this can get quite expensive.
Mechanics:

For those who have just recently built or bought new living quarters, this is the place for efficient, fair-priced household necessities. They sell everything from AutoChef's, Computing Units, Domestics, and even refrigerators! Plus, they also sell the basic components for all the aforementioned products, so you can make your own from scratch. If they're out of something you need, don't worry. They get new shipments once every three days.

A fancy-type restaurant, perfect for a romantic date. They serve all kinds of authentic ethnic foods; Mexican, Italian, French (eww...snails), Chinease, and many more. Prices are fair. The workers here all have strict guidelines--uniform and such. No Domestics are used here--which gives ¡Vamanos! its charming old-timey feel.

A massive, multi-leveled mall. There is literally something for everyone here--they have everything from punk/goth/rebel, to girly clothes, to men's wear, to baby stuff. The food court is on the main level, and on the rest of the other five levels is shopping galore. Of course, there's an elevator for those who are too lazy to take the stairs/escalator. But be careful--security is tight. Not a single shoplifter gets away with it. Domestics take care of sales, both food and stuff, but an actual person does security.

Insomnia is a three-roomed night club, popular with those who like to dance and/or drink, especially teens. They don't require ID--which is why it;s such a success. The first room is the main one, a normal bar with no music, that looks strikingly like the one from the old show Cheers!. The second room is pumping with music constantly--the walls are night club-like, navy-blue and blue, with purple and pink lights in the ceiling. It has a dance floor, and a bar in the corner. The third room has soft, romantic-type music playing in it. It's a large room with plenty of couches and beanbag chairs.

The New York City Equestrian Center, despite how digital the world has become, still has only people working there. There are stables where the horses are kept/borded, a large pasture for horses to roam in, a small clinic for minor injuies to both horse and rider, a birthing stall, and a small fenced-in section of pasture for training (or just riding) the horse.

The harbor is, in some places, a great place to go fishing. There is also a section of the harbor where it's beach-like, and has the perfect waves for surfing. It's a fairly popular vacation spot, and no matter where you go, there's always some view of the statue of liberty.

The park is much like it was way back when, with modifications. There are plenty of paths to walk or take a jog on, places for walking the dog, a couple of different playgrounds..it's great to come here at night under a full moon, for a romantic walk. But never come alone after dark. You never know what or who may be lurking..
