This is where young men and women come when they're too young to get the actual job of a Police Officer. They learn the basic skills, and get the training they need to pass the Exam. Some may even have a specialty picked out by the time they're allowed to take the Exam. Students are ages seventeen, eighteen, or nineteen.

Jail, know by most as The Slammer. Some just call it Hell. Come here, chances are you're in deep nuts. Unless the police screwed uup bad. And they don't do that too often.

The NYPD building has a floor for each separate department. There's the reception, where crimes are reported, then booking, some temporary holding cells, a couple labs for forensic work, a kennel out back to keep the K-9 Unit's dogs in, a lounge, a resting area, and much, much more.
