The ASU is a building directly behind the ASPCA. It is where animals that have been deemed adoptable are kept, until someone comes by and chooses them. Some supplies, such as leashes and small packages of food, are available for those people who still need time to prepare for said animal.

The ASPCA [American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals] is a no-kill shelter that takes in abused, abandoned, and neglected pets. Some pets are even up for adoption once they are healthy again--provided they aren't too violent to be a normal domestic pet.
